NDIS
As an NDIS registered provider, my service is focused on delivering services with a primary emphasis on supporting adults with physical and neurological conditions.
My focus is on providing quality therapy services covering:
-
Functional capacity assessments
-
Assistive technology assessments (minor and complex)
-
Home modifications assessments (minor and complex)
-
NDIS Home & Living assessments
I am a qualified Home Modifications Assessor and an Assistive Technology Assessor — holding postgraduate qualifications.
My service provides individualised support tailored to your needs. My expertise extends to creating high quality NDIS reports, ensuring accurate and detailed recommendations to help you access the funding and services you require.
By combining my specialised knowledge with a collaborative approach, I work with you to empower you to live safely, comfortably, and confidently in your home and community.
Health fund and Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP)
Occupational therapy may be available through your health fund or GP under the Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) program.
The GPCCMP can provide a Medicare rebate for eligible allied health services. The program is designed to support people living with chronic or complex health conditions to access the allied health support they need.
At ADL Therapies, I provide practical, personalised occupational therapy that focuses on what matters to you. This may include supporting your mobility, maintaining or building independence, managing everyday activities, improving safety at home, and helping you continue participating in the things that are important to you.
A Medicare rebate may be available for eligible appointments; however, an out of pocket fee will apply. The cost will depend on the type and length of your assessment or support required and the complexity of your individual needs.
Aged Care
ADL Therapies is dedicated to helping you age safely and independently in the comfort of your own home. Whether you receive funding through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), a Support at Home Package (SAH), or are wanting to self fund - the focus is on enhancing your mobility, supporting independence with personal care and daily tasks, promoting community engagement, and enabling you to enjoy the activities you love.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals with a variety of aged care conditions, including dementia, neurological conditions, physical impairments, and other health related challenges. With personalised services and a compassionate approach, I empower you to live life on your terms, fostering independence, confidence, and overall well-being.
With over a decade of experience in the aged care sector - working in both private practice and not-for-profit organisations - I have a deep understanding of aged care funding programs and how to navigate them effectively. This expertise allows us to help you achieve the best outcomes, ensuring you receive the services and support you need to live safely and independently.
Private clients
You don't need to be an NDIS participant or receive aged care funding to access occupational therapy.
Private occupational therapy is available for adults who want to get started without waiting for funding approval, including people who are:
-
Not eligible for NDIS or aged care funding
-
Currently waiting for their NDIS plan or funding to be approved
-
Waiting for an aged care assessment or funding to become available
-
Looking for support that isn't covered by their existing funding
-
Wanting to access an assessment or equipment sooner
Private therapy can be a practical way to get an assessment underway and start making changes without waiting for a funding decision.
Fees are charged privately and will depend on the type and complexity of the assessment or service required. I will discuss the expected costs with you before commencing.
